About Me

Welcome to my home page.

My name is Dawn Rohal.  I am the Data Processor and the Technology Specialist at Dania Elementary.  This is my fourth year working at Dania Elementary.

About Technology

I recently installed 77 iMac DV computers, 14 Powerbook laptops and 19 Lexmark printers which are now all networked as part of our retro-fit.  We have a brand new,  state of the art, hi-tech lab as a result of this retro-fit.  With 32 iMac stations, 2 Lexmark printers, an Epson color printer as well as an Epson scanner, our students and teachers have an exciting multi-media classroom to use daily.  Besides having the new computers, we have laptop and VCR projection capability for instructional use.
It's exciting to see the wonderful technology that is available to our staff.  I am very interested in meeting with those who are interested in these topics.

About Where I Live

Although I was born and lived in New Jersey until the age of 13, Florida has been "my home" for 23 years.  It is very hot in Pembroke Pines, Florida.  The temperature often reaches 94°.  With all of the hot sunshine, the beach is the place to be.

Other Stuff:

I would love to hear from you in regards to constructing or the operations of a state-of-the-art tech lab.  Suggestions, great ideas, or just to hear your story on how the technology has improved within your place of work.
