About Me

Welcome to my Homepage.
My name is Wini Johnson and I am a Technology Resource Specialist, Curriculum Department, for the St. Lucie County School District. I support K-12 teachers and administrators in 31 schools across the district. District-wide training and individual school requests are scheduled.

Inservice workshops are scheduled for:

• Internet Access - Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels
• Electronic Curriculum Planning Tool (ECPT)
• Gradebook management tools
• PowerPoint Presentation tools
• Digital camera and scanner use
• Multimedia presentations
• Connections training

I am very interested in meeting with other teachers who are interested in these topics.

I have enjoyed working with the team of trainers assembled at the Miami Museum for this week of training. It is sometimes very hot in Miami, Florida. The temperature often reaches 98°. This week it has been rainy but there was a beautiful harvest moon.

About Where I Live

I live in Jensen Beach, halfway between Orlando and Miami, along the east coast of Florida. It is called the Treasure Coast because of the Spanish Galleon Wrecks that have been discovered off our beaches. Citrus groves and ranching are large employers in the county but we also have beautiful beaches and good fishing. Tourism plays an important role in our economy because of our natural environment.
