In November of 1999, five teachers from our school were chosen to take part in the InTech 2000-Cyberseas training in Miami, FL. The highlights of the training included:
- Surfing the www for educational sites to incorporate into our lesson plans.
- We were introduced to different search engines and navigation techniques.
- Established fun cooperative learning games such as Renga, a form of progressive poetry that can be geared to any grade level.
- Practiced using videodisc level 1, videodisc level 3, cd-rom, and a variety of educational software.
- We learned how to use different types of digital cameras for classroom use.
- Spent time developing the web page you are currently viewing!
