My name is Susan
Berry and I am a teacher at MILA Elementary Schoo in Merritt Island,
Florida. I teach fifth grade.
About
My Classroom
I plan on teaching integrated
units around the theme, "Change". Examples are units on Exploration,
the American Revolution, the Civil War, and Wetlands/Endangered species.
The use of technology will be integrated throughout my units. I am
interested in meeting with other teachers who are interested in these topics.
About Where I Live
Merritt Island, Florida
is about 20 miles south of the Kennedy Space Center. In fact, the
name of our school, MILA, stands for "Merritt Island Launching Area".
The essence of Brevard County is the Space Center. Our economy depends
upon it.
