My name is Mel Goodall and I am an Administrator at Florida School
for the Deaf and Blind. I have been working here for more than four years.
I am deaf and I use sign language as a method of communicating with my
peers and family members.
I work with the students in the residential setting. I am the Director of Student Life of the High School. I work with girls and boys from 9th grade to 12th grade in the residential area. I am interested in meeting with other administrators who are also working in the same area as I am or has had previous experiences in the residential setting. My position is similar to the Dean of Student position.
It is very hot in St. Augustine, Florida. The temperature often reaches 98°. St. Augustine is a small quaint town. It is growing though.
