Welcome to my Homepage.
My name is Lisa Adair and I am a teacher at William Turner Technical Arts High School. I teach ninth and twelth grade classes in Language Arts.

About My Classroom

I teach Pacesetter English which is a course that focuses on recursive thematic instruction of six units. The themes/ titles of the units are:

Unit One--Many Voices/ Many selves: An Introduction to Modern Voices (poetry)

Unit Two--Stranger in the Village (short story and essay)

Unit Three--Multiple Voices in a Single Text (novel)

Unit Four--Voices of the Past (drama)

Unit Five--Visible Voices (film)

Unit Six--Multiple Perspectives: Voices of the Media (news media)

I am interested in meeting with other teachers who are interested in these topics. This curriculum is extremely intensive, yet unbelievably gratifying.
