My name is Katherine Sapp and I am a teacher
at Paul Laurence Dunbar Middle School in Ft. Myers, Florida. I teach sixth
grade gifted language arts. I am a University of Tennessee, Knoxville alumni--GO
VOLS!
I am an avid reader, scuba diver, and a global traveler. This summer
I will be taking trips to Spain and Portugal and New England. I would enjoy
getting information on these, or any other exotic locales.
I plan on teaching the following topics: fantasy genre, grammar skills, writing workshop, research skills using the Internet, multi-disciplinary units, biographies and reading workshop, among others. I am very interested in meeting with other teachers who are interested in these topics.

Ft. Myers is a beautiful, tropical paradise located on the west coast
of Florida. Although it is very hot here, the sunny climate is wonderful
during the winter months.
