About Where I Live

Dade City is located in the heart of Florida. Pasco County is greatly diverse. Our west side has beaches and the hustle and bustle of Highway 19. The east side, where I live is very rural. Dade City's streets are tree lined with many Azaleas bordering the homes. We have a wonderful community with small town atmosphere.

The good news is that we are loacted in the "hub" of everything! Dade City is about 30 miles from Tampa and 50 miles from Orlando . So, we have the best of both "big city" life andthe luxury of "small town" living.

We have a wonderful celebration each Christmas that is called Church Street Christmas. Church Street is blocked off for pedestrians and lit by hundreds of candles. Homes and churches along the street are decorated and many offer open house to visitors. Church Street usually takes place the last few days prior to Christmas Eve.
