About Me

Welcome to my Hompage.
My name is Karen Bollinger and I am a district supervisor for elementary language arts in Broward County, Florida

My time is spent mostly with staff development. Our focus areas for training this year are: holistic scoring,narrative (personal and fictional) writing, expository and persuasive writing, writer workshop, conducting focus lessons, spelling, and alternative assessment. I am very interested in meeting with other teachers who are interested in these topics. I have also been trained in First Steps and the Six Analytical Traits and would love to communicate with anyone who is trying to implement both.
