About Me

My name is Kathleen Alley and I am a media specialist at Carlos E. Haile Middle School in Bradenton, Florida. Haile Middle School is Bradenton's newest middle school, opening its doors to students in 6th through 8th grade, August 1997.

About My Media Center

I work with students in the library media center, and support the infusion of technology in curriculum through training opportunities and access to the internet and computer resources in our media center computer lab. I also facilitate the use of our television production lab, located in the media center.

My Interests

I enjoy working with students researching various topics, developing multimedia projects, and sharing my love of literature. I work as and educational consulant for The Weather Channel, and have been very interested in Cable in the Classroom resources for the past ten years. I am very interested in meeting with other teachers who are interested in these topics.

About Where I Live

Bradenton is located in Manatee County, one hours south of Tampa along the beautiful Gulf Coast. People come from around the worldto enjoy the beaches and wonderful weather in Manatee County.
