My name is Jon Haines and I am a Technology Trainer at the Panhandle Area Educational Consortium in the Florida Panhandle. I work with teachers and administrators in 12 rural school districts. I don't have a computer at home, but try to balance the remaining hours of the day with reading,model railroading (my hobby), and my family.
This year we are teaching the following topics:
Computer Basics
Windows 95
Microsoft Office 97 Applications
ECPT Training (Electronic Curriculum Planning Tool)
InTech 2000 Training (Use of the Internet and related tools)
All of these topics are in support of Florida's Sunshine State Standards. I am interested in working with others who are interested in these topics.
It is temperate in northwest Florida, with distinct changes in the seasons, although it seldom freezes in the winter.
