My name is Joan Bayag, and I am a teacher at Miami Palmetto Senior
High School, the very best school in Miami-Dade County! This year
I teach eleventh-grade English.
I plan on teaching the following topics: composition, literature, grammar, vocabulary, and research skills. I am very interested in meeting with other teachers who are interested in these topics.
I love living in Miami.It is sometimes hot in Florida, but the temperature here rarely goes above 92 °; although, because of the humidity, it often feels much hotter (but it's a lot better than being cold).
It's beautiful in Miami - warm breezes, blue sky, green grass, an abundance of flowers and birds - a tropical paradise with a blend of multi-cultures. If you like to eat, you will find succulent spare-ribs cooked the old-fashioned way - on the grill, near black beans and rice, accompained by a cool Run-runner or Margarita-on-the-rocks, if you wish.
