My name is Heidi A.Pape and I am a teacher at Lake
Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs, Florida. This year I will
be teaching 9th Grade English, Study Skills, SAT Prep, and Leadership.
I am also the Student Council Advisor.
In my English classes I will be teaching such topics as the elements of writing, Romeo and Juliet, Greek Mythology, the Short Story, and To Kill a Mockingbird. In my Study Skills and SAT classes I will be teaching skills that will prepare students to be successful in their classes and on college entrance tests. In my Leadership class I will be teaching leadership styles, group dynamics, event planning, and group motivation. I am very interested in meeting with other teachers who are interested in these topics or who have great ideas about activities that relate to these topics.

Altamonte Springs is less than 10 miles from downtown Orlando. Disney World and all the Orlando attractions are less than 20 miles away. There is so much to do in Orlando, from theme parks to the theater, from Orlando Magic basketball games to Orlando Predators arena football games, from antique shops to mega-outlet shops, and from great music to fine dining.
Search engines are a great way to find useful information on the Web. One of my favorites is Education World.
