My name is Florence Helt and I am a teacher at Lecanto High School.
As a Test Coordinator for HSCT, FCAT, and Florida Writes, I work with students
in grades 9-12, but primarily grades 10 & 11.
Students requiring remediation in math and/or reading come to my classroom to work individually or in small groups, using computers and workbooks.
I am very interested in meeting with other teachers who are preparing students for these tests.
Winter in Lecanto is usually mild, while the summers are hot (90°-95°) with frequent thunderstorms.
