My name is Betty Beem and I am a teacher at Ludlam Elementary School.
I teach third grade full time gifted.
I am currently working on an immense unit of study on immigration. We are currently completing a unit on immigrants from south east Asia; specifically those from Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Philipines. This is being done as a total group. In the near future, the students will be broken up into seven groups to become experts on immigrants, immigrant patterns, and causitive factors involved in the decision to emigrate. I am interested in meeting with other teachers who are interested in these topics.
