Welcome to my Homepage.
My name is Donna Nunn and I teach at Turner Tech High School. I teach biology and sponsor the Environmental Club and co-sponsor FBLA. Any free time I have is spent enjoying sports both as a spectator and as a participant.
I plan on teaching the following topics: characteristics of living things, cells, genetics, taxonomy, the 5 kingdoms, environmental issues, and lifetime learning skills. These topics will be integrated with their technical classes in Applied Business Technology.
I am very interested in meeting with other teachers who have any experience with the integration of academics with a technical area. I am also interested in meeting with teachers who have developed labs or activities in the biological field that have practical applications to the world of work.

Even though I teach in Miami, I live in Ft. Lauderdale. I have the best of two worlds because the Dade County School System pays a higher salary but Ft. Lauderdale is a much nicer place to live! It is very hot in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The temperature ofen reaches 98° but thanks to air-conditioning and swimmimg pools, it is not a problem.
