Welcome to my Homepage. My name is Dawn McCann. I am a teacher at Miramar Elementary School. I teach 4th grade in Room 206. I enjoy teaching all subjects related to Elemententary Education. I especially enjoy teaching the children to write and explore Florida through multimedia.
I am looking forward to the 98-99 school year. We will be concentrating on test preparation . Fourth graders take the FCAT, The Florida Writes and the SAT Tests.
In room 206 we connect to the internet and technology is an integral part of our education. We will be doing group projects, research and may even have "keypals" with students around the world. We will be publishing our writing to be read on the web as well as using a multitude of software to enhance our curriculum. It's going to be a great year!!
