Welcome to my Homepage!

My name is Barbara Milks and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist at Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind. I am currently working with all ages of multi-handicapped youngsters in the Special Needs Department. They receive individual therapy in the areas of speech and auditory development.

I am trained in the auditory oral approach and believe in developing the spoken language of capable hearing impaired students in addition to using sign language, as necessary.

I am quite interested in communicating with other oral educators of the deaf working in a variety of settings.
