Museum of Fine Arts of St. Petersburg
http://www.fine-arts.org/

This is an appealing site; the examples of art in the museum's collection, which is excellent, are accompanied by text that is well-written and includes historical references. This is also an especially good site for Florida school children, since the location of the museum makes it accessible to many of them.

Florida Museum of Natural History
http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/

Great example of an on-line museum with great visual appeal. Especially useful for the florida teacher. Great resource for other subject areas, i.e. social studies, science, and multicultural projects.

National Air & Space Museum
http://www.nasm.si.edu/

This site covers the history and furture of flight and space. It includes on-line activities that cover broad subjects. There are 3D tours of exhibits, digital images of pictures taken from space, educational links, any much more. The site covers contains almost too much. Students could get lost. Some guided instructions would be helpful
