Materials

1 8x10 piece of black construction paper (1 per child) precut pattern block shapes

What to do

1. Glue a yellow pattern block shape in the center of the piece of construction paper. 2. Continue adding and gluing shapes around the yellow hexagon maintaining patterns and symmetry. 3. Continue until no more pieces can be added.

Additional Information

It is helpful to experiment with real patten blocks before glueing.
