What to do

First, explain the concept and follow by concrete examples. Second, explain a real life situation, such as cutting up a pizza, where relative sizes of fractions are illustrated. The student will come to understand fractions that are greater than less than or equal to other fractions.The student will relate prior knowlede of whole numbers. Then students will do practice and drill using texts. Then papers will exchange papers and correct each others work.

Additional Information

Students can work individually or in groups depending upon composition of the class.
