Materials

16 gauge wire,assorted markers,construction paper,scissors,kite string, planter hanging hooks, compass, pencil and wire cutters.

What to do

Students will create a scale model of the solar system using the above materials. They will hang the planets and the sun on the wires in proper location to each other and the sun. They will have to set the distance and size of the planets according to scale based on tables in the science book or other available sources.
