Materials

Colored construction paper. (Dark reds, blues, greens, browns work the best.) Items that can be left out: Leaves, bottle tops, pens, etc..

What to do

Place the item on top of the colored construction paper. If you will be putting this outside where they may be wind, it might be better to tape the item to the paper. Leave the item and the paper in an area that receives direct sunlight. Give it about 3 days, and the paper will have faded, but the space below the item will be the original color.
