Student desks, students, cards with an ordered pair, prizes

What to do

Students take turns selecting a card with an ordered pair on it. The student who is sitting in that chair (after having established the origin) becomes the next student to draw a card. Certain cards will be coded to be prize winners.

Additional Information

This activity will allow students practice at identifying positions on the coordinate grid.
