Materials
Book: It Looked Like Spilt Milk
Blue construction paper
White paint
Black or blue marker (white crayon or white pencil looks good, but if you laminate it, the writing may disappear)
What to do

> After studying the water cycle and discussing clouds, read the book It Looked Like Spilt Milk.
Discuss symmetry.
Have students fold a piece of dark blue construction paper in half and drop a small amout of white paint in the fold.
Students fold the paper on the fold and push down on the paper, spreading the white paint.
Students open the paper and determine what the blob of paint looks like to them.
Students write on the bottom of the paper: "Sometimes it looked like a ________________, but it wasn't a ______________.
Additional Information
The teacher can make this into a class book by laminating and binding the pages. The class can read it over and over again.
