My name is Shannon Thompson, and I am an Instructional Technology
Specialist in Pasco County. I provide technical suppport, staff development,
and network administration for Hudson and Cypress Elementary Schools.
Hudson Elementary is a networked school, and provides challenges because of this. Cypress Elementary is not a networked school, in fact it is a school of the "middle ages." At Cypress we are using NetDays, and plugging away at becoming networked and updated - a big challenge!
It is very hot and humid in Hudson/New Port Richey, Florida. The temperature often reaches 92°. New Port Richey is located about 25 miles north of St. Petersburg, and Hudson is about 6 miles further north of NPR.
Search engines are a great way to find useful information on the Web. One of my favorites is Education World.
