My name is Joanne Branham. I am an Instructional Technology Specialist
at Moon Lake Elementary School in Pasco County, Florida.
Moon Lake Elementary School is located in New Port Richey, Florida. We have a beautiful wooded area with plenty of wildlife. Our school population is approximately 530 students, Pre-K through 5. We are a full Title I school with Primary CP Houses (K-1, 1-2), one Transitional CP class (2-3) and Intermediate CP Houses (3-4, 4-5) in a pod layout. Moon Lake also contains an ESE Unit consisting of Primary EH, Primary SED, Primary VE, Theraputic Pre-K, Intermediate EH, Intermediate SED, SLD Inclusion in both Primary and Intermediate, a Behavioral Specialist, Gifted Intermediate CP classes, and an Intermediate CP MAP class.
In the coming year, we plan to have a school-wide World's Fair in the fall and the Invention Convention in February. All students in the basic classes, 2-5, will be involved in the CCC SuccessMaker Integrated Learning Computer Program. It will enhance and supplement our basic curriculum.
